"...this very moment." ~ You, Me, Life, Dreams ~
So many times when people are entering relationships; they worry about all kinds of things. For the masculine, it is more immediate about how the evening will go, whether there will be a connection, the details of taking care of things. For the feminine, it is likely to be everything from what to wear, if they will be liked, and where this is going.
However, when we let our minds tangent off on all of these "what ifs" we lose the magic of the moment; and thus the real opportunity for connection. The key when exploring a new relationship is not about where it is going, or if I have chosen the right outfit; but where am I at in the moment. If you don't allow yourself to enjoy the moment and experience; you actually lose a great deal of potential for a relationship to develop. You can miss the real connection.
It really isn't about what you are doing; but are you enjoying the moment. Are you really taking in the experience and conversation. When we allow ourselves to just simply enjoy the moment; we create a magic that shows us where there is potential. When we worry about everything else we actually kill the magic.
In addition, when we are present with the person we are with, they are getting our undivided attention. This is one of the most incredible experiences you can give someone and to receive. This is an aspect of giving fully of oneself. All of the rest is just extra.
