"...I love that person..." ~ Activating Compassion ~

When we love others as a compassionate being, love others goes to a whole other dimension; as we are loving them through the eyes of Spirit. This happens because we love them regardless of all of their little quirks, challenges, and oddities. In this process, we can say "yes, this person does ______" but I love them anyways.

When we do this it removes us from judging those oddities and traits as right or wrong; and just simply acknowledges that it is part of how that person functions. From this space, I like to use the aspect of "I welcome and support any changes they choose to make; but love them just the way they are" and then really feel that. You see, when we love as a compassionate being we love without the changes being made.

Now this doesn't mean that you support others in staying in negative patterns or destructive behaviors. It also does not mean that you are willing or have to be a part of how they choose to be. It simply means that you love them in an unconditional way. You choose to see that they are as much a part of the divine as you are. That you love them for their own unique piece.

I have learned that even the things that can be annoying to us; can be filled with beauty, gifts, skills, treasures, and lessons. A big key to experiencing the light that others have, is to acknowledge these Spirit filled pieces within them. If you choose to acknowledge these things, then you will get to see more of them. You may also, just be the key that opens a door within them to embrace a piece of themselves that they didn't feel safe being in before.

We are all perfectly imperfect. Can you help others be aware of these wonderful things within them without being judging and critical? Take the time to notice and focus on the beauty and gifts that each person around has.
