I’ve been practicing yoga since 2000. I love anatomy and alignment. I enjoy teaching the details and intricacies of the poses and strive to bring that knowledge to my students. As a SmartFlow teacher, my goal is to foster intelligent and alignment based practice that will help to prevent injury and allow students to practice for a lifetime. Because I came to yoga as an athlete I have a deep appreciation for how yoga can help condition as well as restore the body, so I use both of these elements together in my teaching. I love teaching yoga, especially helping students discover that they're actually capable of so much more than they thought! If you've never done yoga before, don't worry, yoga is for anyone and everyone looking to get to know themselves and their bodies better.
