Ilona Yukov founded Holistic Wellness NY, a private practice whose aim is to help people achieve their health and wellness goals. She has over 16 years of experience working with clients with various conditions. She can help address your issues due to her unique background. She started researching the benefits of nutrition and healthy living, and received her training in holistic nutrition and wellness at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She went on to study various mind/body techniques such as mindfulness, Reiki, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), breathwork and guided imagery. She also became certified as an Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner, graduating from the International Center for Positive Change & Hypnosis in New York City. Her experience as an Occupational Therapist allows her to empathize with people of diverse backgrounds, ages and health conditions. In 2008, Ilona published an article on how food can effect the behavior of children with special needs. Presently, she is working in an elementary school with children with disabilities as an Occupational Therapist and provides wellness services for adults in her private practice. Her personal mission is to empower, guide and support you in turning your desires into reality and attain inner peace, happiness and an overall state of well-being.
