I'm a Board Certified Clinical Psychologist and Shamanic Practitioner, trained in the healing practices of the Q'ero shamans of Peru. I work as an Associate Professor in graduate psychology and have both a private psychology practice and a shamanic practice. I integrate empirically-based psychological principles with ancient, holistic, energetic healing based in Peruvian shamanic practices. My clients experience real, enduring change as well as embracing future growth. Science is discovering what indigenous healers have always known – there are specific energetic “signatures” in all of us that resonate with all living beings. Through techniques of shamanic journeying and reiki healing, in the context of sound, ethical psychological practice I identify and removes emotional and energetic blocks, allowing my clients to more fully live the life they desire.
I am active in the American Psychological Association, with many presentations on self-care, mentorship, and working with Dissociative Identity Disorder and severe trauma. I LOVE being in nature, spending time with family, friends and my four dogs and learning, learning, learning.
