I'm a Mindfulness and Social-Emotional educator, motivational speaker, yoga therapist & teacher, author, and mentor. I'm also the founder of the Natural Yoga Method. I am the owner/instructor of Transformative Fitness, a yoga-fitness studio in the Stockade, Schenectady NY. I have been in my field since 2002.
My work focuses on mindfulness as a powerful tool for self-development and wellness, based on the neurological and physiological changes achieved with regular practice in various forms. I teach people how to work healthfully with their emotional and sensory experiences, to extract their guidance, and learn to follow it to a passionate, personally authentic, healthy, & fulfilling everyday life. When we honor the connection with our inner guidance and truth, we are able to connect more deeply with others and nature itself as well.
I work with children as well as adults to build confidence and mindfulness, and to create healing or support during transitions, losses, and transformation. I also work with those with special needs, including autism/ADHD, and those recovering from trauma, c-PTSD/PTSD, eating disorders and etc. I can help empaths and other highly-sensitive individuals learn how to maximize these gifts in daily life with proper self-understanding and self-care.
I give keynote speeches, and facilitate workshops/wellness seminars or programming for schools, universities, and in corporate settings, as well as working with families/couples, and individuals.
