I am a Medical Exercise Specialist (MES). I manage over 60 different medical conditons by devising safe and effective exercise programs for patients who have been d/c from medical care, physical therapy or chiropractice care. I bridge the gap b/t health care & fitness. i do this by using medically based protocols, orthopedic assessments & functional scales to produce positive functional outcomes for the client. I also effetively communicate with medical professionals through assessment reports, progress reports and session logs to keep them up to speed on their patients. I manage cardivascular, neurological and musculoskeletal conditons. Exercise is key to long term management of medical conditions. As a result of this modal, the health care system saves countless millions and patients are less prone to re- injury. i love what i do and love to help people. i specialize in lumbar disorders and chronic pain, however i have worked with a variety of clients. i am currently working on a 3 part series on lumbar disorders for MBN. Tore and i have discussed it and i am so excited to be a part of something so wonderful!!!
