Natasha Sharma is a therapist, speaker, TV/media spokesperson, and doctoral student. She is also the author of The Kindness Journal, a guided, interactive daily journal for cultivating a more positive outlook and happiness in life.
Natasha is devoted to inspiring and helping others to be their best and live their best, and has worked with thousands of individuals, couples, and families. Natasha received her Masters degree in psychology from The Johns Hopkins University, and is currently completing her Doctorate degree in psychology. After practicing for several years with The University of Maryland Medical Centre and one of Toronto’s most prestigious psychology practices, Natasha founded the clinic NKS Therapy in Toronto.
As an Expert in the areas of Happiness, Relationships, and Parenting, Natasha writes for a number of global publications such as YummyMummyClub.ca, InsideToronto.com, and TheBabySpot.ca. She has also appeared on some of Canada’s most popular TV shows including Global News Toronto, The Morning Show, Breakfast Television Toronto, Entertainment Tonight, Etalk, and Rogers TV. In addition, her relationship tips and mental health advice have been featured in The Globe and Mail and Huffington Post.
Natasha’s undergraduate institution McMaster University has profiled her as a notable alumnus, and she is a regular contributor to The DeGroote School of Business "Knowledge Magazine." She has worked with individuals in the areas of anxiety, depression, relationships/marriage/dating, parenting, ADHD, and cultural issues, and has completed over 400 comprehensive assessments. She is clinically supervised by Dr. Jon Mills, Registered Psychologist, of Mills Psychology.
Natasha has been speaking professionally across Canada, the United States, and Europe for over 10 years. She is frequently invited to speak at academic, corporate, and private events including Harvard University, The University of Maryland, and McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business. She has also spoken at Toronto events such as the Beauty and Health Expo, The High Notes Gala for Mental Health, and worked with organizations such as Estee Lauder to deliver international workshops to thousands of individuals around the world.
A born performer, Natasha is also an accomplished singer and pianist. She was a finalist to play the lead role on Broadway in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s NYC production of Bombay Dreams in 2004. Natasha is also trained in classical piano to the “ARCT Performance” level.
Prior to graduate school, Natasha completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at McMaster University and worked in the corporate world for several years. Her personal decision to make a significant shift in her own career has made her especially passionate about helping clients with their own career exploration and shift to work that they enjoy. Natasha is dedicated to one simple yet powerful goal: Helping people elevate themselves and transition to more meaningful, purposeful, and enjoyable lives.
