Pierre Milot

I have published four books in French and numerous magazine articles on health / nutrition related matters. I published a self-help book on stress management entitled: ‘Power Up Your Life & Make Stress Work 4 You’, and one entitled 'Rising From The Ashes of Loss, My voyage through grief'. The latter is a real life account of my uphill battle as the sole caretaker for my late wife of 38 years who died after a 3 year fight against cancer. I am a certified naturotherapist and clinical hypnotherapist. I am also an accomplished musician / singer. As a coach, I work with my 5 steps approach: set a goal, assess client's strengths, establish a working strategy, implement it and evaluate results. I bring 'empathy' in the relationship and act as a 'sounding board' to help people clarify their emotions. I help my clients to 'think outside of the box' and how to think clearly and better their communication skills in their relationships. I have successfully helped people find new ways of doing things and reach levels of performance and competence they never though they could for the last 30 years.

Aside from being a frequent guest on live radio shows, I also hosted my own television series on parapsychology / alternative medicine for many years in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

I am a doctor in Therapeutic Counselling. I have 30 years of experience in coaching / mental health care / health and nutrition field. I offer the following services:
- Grief / stress management coaching

Rising From The Ashes of Loss, My Voyage Through Grief

Death is inevitable and is an existential fear for all human beings. But it is the devastating thought of departing this earth alone and in agony that renders our inevitable transition such a fearful endeavour. For many, it is not so much facing the afterlife, as most religions provide some support in that area, but it is in the way we will end our lives that is the major source of concern. Strangely enough, today is a good day, it's been so long since I've had one. All bundled up in my checkered hunting shirt, and discreetly trespassing on my neighbour's long country driveway, I'm taking my old dog Max out for his morning walk.
