Nutmeg or Myristica fragrans is a spice that has been used safely for thousands of years and was first found in Asia, Indonesia, India, and in the Caribbean, and other countries. Making Nutmeg Tea - Use only 1/3 teaspoon in hot water steeped for 15 minutes and then cooled and enjoyed once or twice daily.

No Side-Effects in Normal Doses - Side-Effects - In normal doses nutmeg has been used for thousands of years without health challenges. But in large excessive doses such as 20 to 30 grams a day nutmeg can cause psychotropic effects, hallucinatory effects, vomiting, heart palpitations, seizures, and some narcotic effects.
