Guduchi is an herb that has been used in Ayurvedic Medicine for thousands of years and it's the most important herb of all. It's a great detoxing agent, boosts up our immunity, helps with asthma and other respiratory challenges, and it also great for healing the liver plus so much more. And it's also called the Nectar of Life and it has No Side-Effects.

Where it Grows - This plant is common in India, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar. This plant has heart-shaped leaves and loves to climb.

Other Names - Guduchi is also called Tinospora cordifolia and Giloy and some call it the Nectar of Life.

Parts Used - The stem, roots, and leaves all can be used... but the stem contains more of the active ingredients.

Forms - You can order the dried stems, fresh plant cuttings, the powders, and capsules and you can even buy the plants.

Finding - You can find Guduchi on amazon.com and eBay.com and other places online. And it's very inexpensive about $12 a pound.

Dose - The average dose of the powder is 1 teaspoon taken AM and PM. This can be added to juice or in other beverages.

No Side Effects - There are no known side effects to taking Guduchi if taken in normal doses... but it can cause constipation if used for long periods of time so remember to eat your fiber if you are using it for a long time. This is one of those herbs that can be used for a long time without health challenges. But as always those who are pregnant, nursing, or small children should not use this herb.
