“Dr. Haider’s Relaxing Bedtime Tea Recipe”

Here is a tea that I make that's very relaxing and warming just before bedtime. This tea will allow you to sleep soundly and enjoy a restful nights sleep... and this tea helps with digestion. Plus this wonderful tea is simple to make and the ingredients can be found just about anywhere.


1/2 - Cup of Whole Organic Cardamom Pods

1/2 - Cup of Whole Organic Chamomile Flowers

1/8 - Cup of Whole Organic Anise Seeds or 3 Star Anise Pieces

1 - Teaspoon of Ground Organic Nutmeg

8 - 4-inch Organic Cinnamon Sticks

3 - Organic Cloves

Grind all these spices together to a coarse grind and store in a jar with a tight-fitting lid.

To make tea take a heaping teaspoon of the ground tea and place it in a cup. Add boiling hot water and steep for 10 minutes, strain, and then it's ready to enjoy.

(Optional) You can also add a little vanilla extract if you like.

(Optional) You can sweeten this tea to taste with honey or stevia.

(Optional) You can add organic plant-based milk if you like.

This tea can be enjoyed nightly.

Try to buy organic, but if you can't find organic this tea will still be great.


Health Benefits of Organic Chamomile

Antibiotic – Chamomile is a great antibiotic, and if used in a salves or cream works wonders for soothing away skin infections... and if taken as tea or capsules helps with invading microbes.

Skin – Chamomile is a great antiseptic agent for acne, allergies, burns, psoriasis, stings, bruises, diaper rash, chickenpox, bites, eczema, swelling, and other skin problems and irritations. And studies show that Chamomile can speed up the healing of skin wounds. And a new study shows that Chamomile is just as effective as 1% hydrocortisone.

Stress – Chamomile is great for calming down and easing away stress.
