As we approach Mother's Day I'd like to take a moment to say 'wow, moms are amazing!' Are you a mom who would do anything for her kids? Do you sometimes put your health on the back burner for your kids?

A big Thank You to all of you healthy moms! You are amazing and a true inspiration!

What's your battery looking like?

Moms are some of the most amazing and also some of the busiest people I've ever met. Are you a mom who's battery is maybe showing up a little low? Do you need to pause a moment and recharge? Perhaps you know a mom who puts herself last and is constantly exhausted?

During pregnancy a mother's body puts all of its resources, nutrients and life force towards the growing baby. Whatever is left over after the baby is fulfilled is what mama gets to use to sustain her own body and mind. It works similarly while breast-feeding. If you've ever heard anyone lovingly call a baby a parasite, this is why. It would seem that nature has designed mother's to give to their children first, and yet, if this pattern continues year after year without any checks and balances it can leave mom tired, exhausted and without any reserve energy left. In time, this exhaustion can lead to less energy and patience for your kids.

Even though I'm speaking specifically about moms, exhaustion and lack of reserve energy can affect anyone, including dads and yes even kids!

You might ask; will I receive all of the benefits mentioned above? The answer is, I don't know. Each person gets slightly different results from Chiropractic Care, and it will depend on you and your body. What I do know is that under care you and your child will be healthier! When your spine is aligned and your nervous system is functioning properly you have greater potential to create health!
