Agarikon Mushrooms are one of the oldest and longest living mushrooms on the planet. Agarikon mushrooms live to be 70, 80, 90, and even 100 years old. And have many amazing health benefits including helping with cancer, tuberculosis, and many other diseases. And this mushroom is referred to as the mushroom of long life. And it's somewhat hard to find... but it can finally be cultivated so we will not lose its genetic code to deforestation.
Other Names - Agarikon mushroom is also known as Laricifomes officinalis and Fomitopsis officinalis both of which have the same healing qualities. There are over 40 different strains of this mushroom.
Used for Thousands of Years - Groups of people have talked about the healing qualities of this amazing mushroom going back 2000 years. The Greek Healer Dioscorides talked about the amazing healing qualities of Agarikon Mushrooms.
Where it Grows - This mushroom can be found in Europe, Poland, Italy, Austria, Oregon, Washington State, California, British Columbia, and some other places in the world where. It grows in Douglas Fir Trees, Hemlock, and Spruce Trees and also Larch Trees. It likes damp wet forests.
What it Looks Like - This mushroom can be huge, as large as a 5-gallon bucket and shaped like a beehive with multiple stripes of white and brown colors on the outside. It's beautiful and needs to be protected because they are slow growing.
Contains - Agarikon Mushrooms contains Quinine Conk which is different from the regular quinine used for treating malaria. Also contains lots of powerful beta-D-glucan, other polysaccharides, and agaric acid a powerful anti-inflammatory.
Used for Treating Tuberculosis - Down through history Agarikon Mushroom has been used for treating tuberculosis and it's symptoms. Dr. Scott Franzblau and his staff found 2 super potent anti-tuberculosis compounds in this mushroom.
Anti-inflammatory - Agarikon Mushroom is also a good anti-inflammatory agent that helps with arthritis, joint pain, sciatica, and other inflammatory diseases and symptoms.

Dose - In capsules, Agarikon Mushroom powder can be taken at the rate of 500 mg up to 3000 mg daily. Remember all herbs and supplements should only be taken for 7 to 10 days.

Side Effects - So far there are no side effects to taking this mushroom, but large doses can cause diarrhea and GI upsets, But as always those who are pregnant, nursing, or small children should not take this herbal product.
