I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA#80099) & Registered Yoga & Meditation Instructor (Hatha, Prenatal & Kundalini Yoga) as well as a Daring Way™ Facilitator. I enjoy working with people who are interested in a holistic approach to self healing and empowerment. It is important to me that I offer clients a sacred space to share, authentic connection, and honest & direct communication.
It is my goal to support others in their personal exploration, growth and healing through therapeutic counseling, somatic awareness, creative expression & yoga and meditation. Through the therapeutic process I can help a client design and implement a personal home practice of self-care that can include yoga and meditation.
I practice a transpersonal and somatic approach to psychological counseling and healing. Being a yoga instructor for over fifteen years, I bring a rich understanding of the body-mind connection as well as life experience and personal understanding to my work with individuals, couples, and families.
Trained as a family systems therapist, I offer an eclectic approach to my clients by using a foundation of client centered theory with somatic, humanistic and existential questioning, and extensive cognitive and behavioral techniques as needed. This approach is blended with a specialization in creative expression and extensive yoga, meditation and mindfulness-based stress reduction trainings. When working with clients, I consistently provide compassionate care in a non-judgmental environment. I consider myself open minded and informed. I am committed to providing a safe and hope-filled space for my clients to explore their experiences and
move toward healing and transformation. Call me now for a free 15 minute phone consultation.
