My approach to therapy begins by meeting each person where they are, in the moment. I believe that in learning about people and their experiences, we can form a personalized and collaborative therapeutic relationship. You are the expert on your own life, and my goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment as you move toward change and growth in this journey.
I received my Masters of Science in Marriage, Family, & Child Therapy from the University of Phoenix, San Diego. Clinical experience in a variety of settings including residential facilities, group homes, foster care, and hospitals has provided me with a wide range of experience providing therapy to children, teens, adults, couples, and families.
I provide counseling therapy as a Licensed Psychotherapist in a San Diego private practice setting, and completed several thousand hours of providing therapy prior to becoming licensed through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (LMFT #82589). I am constantly striving to learn and improve my skills as a therapist.
