Mark is founding director of the Mindfulness Center of Atlanta. He is a licensed professional counselor in private practice and a registered yoga teacher. Mark is adjunct lecturer in the graduate theology program at Spring Hill College and the Contemplative Outreach commissioned presenter of the Centering Prayer method for the Aquinas Center of Theology at Emory University.

Mark holds the Master Degree in Counseling Psychology from Montclair University and the Master Degree in Pastoral Studies from Spring Hill College. He has completed the MBSR teacher development intensive training program taught by Jon Kabat-Zinn, Saki Santorelli and senior staff from the Center for Mindfulness (CFM) at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and is a CFM Qualified Teacher of MBSR. He has completed training in the Mindful Schools Curriculum, Yoga Teacher Certification 200 hour Training from Yoga Alliance, Atlanta Yoga Fellowship, and Peachtree Yoga Center, Atlanta, Yoga Therapy in Cancer & Chronic Illness Professional Training with Integral Teachers Yoga Association, and Clinical Training in Mind-Body Medicine, by Herbert Benson, MD, Mind/Body Medical Institute. He holds a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from Spring Hill College.
