Sharon LaMothe is the Owner of LaMothe Services, LLC, an ART Business Assistant/Marketing Company, LaMothe Surrogacy Consulting, an informational service to educate surrogates and first time Intended Parents in the sometimes overwhelming process of Traditional and Gestational Surrogacy, and Owner of InfertilityAnswers.net, an educational website for those researching Third Party Family Building. She is also a motivational coach for those looking for extra support and guidance for those times when life seems to be complicated and solutions are few. Sharon also owned and operated her own Surrogacy Agency for over 5 years. She has had personal experience being a Gestational Surrogate twice by giving birth to two sets of twins (2000 and 2005) after suffering secondary infertility--hormone related which ended up spacing her own children 10 years apart. Sharon's educational background includes a Social Services major which encompassed classes in Crisis Identification and Intervention, Interviewing and Counseling, Communication in Groups and Organizations. She has offered her expertise by holding round table discussions and speaking on the topic of Surrogacy for SMART ART, RESOLVE, ASRM, Fertile Dreams, AATB, A Family of My Own, and by arranging staff development luncheons and meetings with various clinics, hospitals and law offices. Sharon is the author of the book Surrogacy Helps Make a Family Grow! written for the children of surrogate mothers.
